RB: An Open Letter

As of now you probably couldn’t care less but hey, believe it or not, we’re meant to be together.

I don’t exactly know how you look like as of now but I do know that we have similar passions, beliefs and sentiments. You will catch me off-guard and I wouldn’t recognize you at once. But nonetheless, we are inevitable.

We will be like motolite, pangmatagalan. :p

You won’t necessarily be what I am hoping for physically, but that’s not to say that you wouldn’t take my breath away. Your eyes will sparkle like no other. I’m sure of it. And one of these days, I’d be gazing into them in full admiration.

Just come around already why don’t you?

Coz if you do, I promise I will:

1. Let everyone know how smart, funny, witty, patriotic, fun, caring, stunningly beautiful, godly and amazing you are.. Among others.
2. Not do anything that your family might not approve of.
3. Court your mum if I have to.
4. Do no more than hold your hand during courtship. Not coz I don’t want any of you. It’s exactly coz I do and I just happen to firmly believe in intimacy with commitment.
5. Hug you til forever.
6. Serenade you for as long as your ears would allow me to.
7. Call you darling so frequently people around us would think it’s your other nickname.
8. Slow dance with you to the tune of… some romantic old song. :|. Haha. Could be from any of these bands: The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Zombies, Dave Clark Five or Chicago. But yea, don’t worry. You get to pick. ;)
9. Kiss you for the first time at the altar and love you unconditionally from there on out.
10. Change the world with you.

If you got the chance to finish Elementary then surely you’d agree with me when I say that every circle is made up of infinitely many points symmetrically surrounding a single point as its center.

Well, in my theory, each point making up the “circle of life” pertains to a single person living in this earthly dimension of reality. And at the center would naturally be none other than GOD Himself.

Now, I imagine it to be every person’s life purpose to seek GOD before everything else. Some may not know or believe such but in this theory, it is taken as a constant.

Now like spokes on a bicycle wheel, each person pursues GOD like each point eventually connects to the center through a straightforward linear path. And since it is after all a circle, lines would eventually intersect at the center signifying a coming together of two people at a time, in their own pursuit of GOD.

Now the theoretical statement is this:

Assuming they are on the previously defined direction towards perfection, each person will eventually end up with who he/she is meant to be with, after successful pursuit of GOD who is at the center of everyone’s lives whether we believe/like/know it or not.

Oh, and btw. I am a Christian/Industrial Engineering student. This is (not surprisingly) how I am wired to think. Though some would find this quite hard to stomach.. Math and Soul could actually blend together quite well.
